Francesca Lucugnano
A student of the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, Francesca Lucugnano was selected by Academy President Rosita Marchese, she will paint a picture inspired by Modest Petrovič Musorgsky’s Pictures of an Exhibition during Maurizio Baglini’s performance of the piece at the 3 October concert.
The painting will then be auctioned on 6 October, the day of the Festival’s conclusion, for a charitable donation that will be used for the restoration of a work of art on the instructions of the Perugia Superintendency.
