Composition of a piece for Solo Violin on the theme “Baroque Modernity” reserved for composition students at the Francesco Morlacchi Conservatory of Music in Perugia

The Postignano Music Festival promoted a Composition Competition reserved to the students of the composition classes at the Francesco Morlacchi Conservatory of Music in Perugia, which called for the composition of a piece for Solo Violin on the theme “Baroque Modernity” lasting about five minutes.


The purpose of this commission was not only the concert performance of the piece, which will take place on the opening night of the Festival on 1 October 2024, performed by violinist Grazia Raimondi, but also the publication of the piece with the Suvini e Zerboni publishing house.
The winner will also receive a scholarship from the Postignano Music Festival.
